Our goal based training promotes competition and tough physical events as we know the relavence of their power to create lasting change. We often hear “I want to get in the best shape of my life” as a goal. But the truth is, most people are scared to push themselves to their limits, scared of the unknown, scared to experience what their “best” can be. We know otherwise. We know that hard arduous physical training creates profound change in one’s self perception. We know racing is the ultimate celebration of hard work and preparation. Our belief stems from the Hindu teaching that “Suffering is the sugar of life…It sweetens everything.” Our experience has taught us that by coaching our clients to their physical and mental limits within a safe environment, with the support of community, creates sustainable lifestyle changes. Furthermore, it stimulates the growth of the anterior Mid Cingulate Cortex (aMCC) the part of the brain where grit, tenacity and willpower reside.
